American performer, painter and documentary filmmaker Jeff Perkins was a “professional outsider,” a self-taught talent who never made it in the New York scene, as well as a cabdriver. French artist Johanna Viprey narrates her investigation in Perkins’ personal history and work, including his interviews with passengers he recorded along the twenty years he was working as a cabdriver exploring the notion of artistic education and “profession.”
