Gertrude Gibbons
is a writer based in London. She has written for Corridor 8, The French Literary Review, The Pluralist, The Theatre Times, Still Point Journal among others, and has recently written articles on Stéphane Mallarmé, Samuel Beckett, Guillaume Apollinaire, Witkacy, and Philip Glass. Currently, she is researching Polish theatre and cultural reception in the UK and Italy and writing about theories of absorption and seduction in the arts. She plays and teaches violin and has a keen interest in early music and opera.
