Emanuele Carlenzi
(Rome, 1992) held a degree in contemporary art history from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and completed an MA in art criticism in 2017. He participated in Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo’s curatorial program. In 2019, he gained a Ph.D. position in history of photography at IMT – School for Advanced Studies Lucca. In 2022, he was a research scholar at the History and Theory of Photography Research Centre at Birkbeck University of London. His research is currently dedicated to the history of Italian photographic exhibitions spanning between the Nineteenth and Twentieth centuries, with a specific focus on its critical debate.
