Carlotta Novella
is an artist, architect, educator, and host. As director of Public Works, Carlotta has led numerous projects, including WetLab, R-Urban Poplar in collaboration with Atelier Architecture Autogérée, Desiccate with Care for the Istanbul Design Biennial, and The Ministry for Common Land, part of the British Pavilion at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale. Carlotta has taught design at the Architectural Association, UCA Canterbury, and Umeå University in Sweden. Currently, she leads the first-year Architecture BA program at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. She is the co-founder of the London-based design studio FRITTO MISTO and, in Italy, leads La Scuola del Filò, a multidisciplinary, collaborative initiative aimed at exploring the unique contrada contexts of the Agno Valley.
