Alessandro Cazzola
is a researcher based in Nicosia, Cyprus. He has collaborated with contemporary art galleries and cultural institutions in Europe for over ten years. In his independent curatorial and writing practice, he investigates possible dialogues and intersections between contemporary art and antiquity, with a specific focus on Cypriot artistic history, and the current debate around identity, landscape, de-colonizing and queering processes in the eastern Mediterranean island(s) and the Levant.
